OFFICE STATUS:
CLOSED TO PUBLIC: November 16-20, 2020

The Governor’s office is urging communities to follow Red Zone Reduction Recommendations to stop COVID spread.  The recommendation includes Government offices to operate virtually, when they do not provide critical services.  Many of our Police and Public Works employees provide critical services, and they will continue to do so.  City Administration will continue to handle our current schedules, where we alternate shifts in the office and virtual on days we are not in the office.  We will be reducing our in person contact by closing the doors to the public on a rolling week by week basis.  If the County is in the red the doors will be locked.  We understand people may still need to meet with us from time to time – we will schedule appointments as needed.  The determination to be open or closed will be updated each Friday for the following week.

Tax payments are a big concern at this time.  We continue to have many options available to individuals to make their payments.

  • Cash or check payments are accepted at Heritage Bank in Crescent Springs, they will take your payment at the drive-thru
  • Payments can be dropped off in the drop box to the right of the door at the City Administration Office.
  • Payments can be mailed to the City office or to the Lockbox address provided on the bill.
  • Lastly, payments can be made online with a credit card at: http://villahills.kenton.ky.govern.com/.

If you are requesting a receipt for your payment, please make a note on the payment stub, or email City Clerk Jennifer Lipson at [email protected].  Please write “Request for tax receipt” in the subject line.  Receipts can be emailed to you, as this is the safest method for all of us, we request you to provide an email address, if that is not an option, we will mail a receipt to you.

If you need to meet with Administration staff, please call the office to request an appointment.

Passport appointments are being put on hold at this point, and will be re-assessed weekly based on the County’s COVID status.  For those with current appointments, we will keep those appointments, but ask that you wear your mask and call when you arrive to be let into the building.  The office number is (859) 341-1515.  Anyone interested in making an appointment will need to call on Friday to inquire if the office will be open for appointments the following week.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our office at (859) 341-1515, Monday through Friday from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm.
