Villa Hills and Crescent Springs, Your Help is Needed!

Our adopted soldiers from Fort Campbell have been deployed to Romania since June and will not return until March 2023. That’s a lot of time (and holidays) spent away from family and friends, and we’re hoping to send a little bit of home overseas to a cold airbase in Eastern Europe, close to Ukraine.

We’ve asked, and here’s what they would like:

  • Games (card games, board games, dice, etc.)
  • Eye drops
  • Foot powder
  • Hand warmers
  • Flavor mixes for bottled water
  • Beef Jerky
  • Trail mix
  • Snack Crackers
  • Hard candy
  • Protein bars
  • Fruit snacks
  • Chocolate
    • Items that are easy for them to carry in their pockets

Please drop off at either city building by Tuesday, October 18th. Hours -Villa Hills M-F 8am-5pm, Crescent Springs M-F 8am-4pm. Monetary donations are gladly accepted, too!

Also, students from our local schools have written letters and cards to the soldiers and we’ve mailed them to Romania.
If you’re wondering – how did we (Villa Hills and Crescent Springs) “adopt” these soldiers? It started in 2006 -please check this page for the story: https://villahillsky.org/city-service-partners/.
